Homeless Services

We have provided services for homeless individuals and families since 2019. Clients are referred to these programs through San Francisco’s coordinated care system.

Bayview Navigation Center

Bayview Navigation Center is a low-threshold, high-service temporary shelter program for over 200 adults experiencing homelessness. BVHPF has operated Bayview navigation, San Francisco’s largest navigation center, since it opened in 2021. In addition to medical and behavioral health services, we provide onsite case management to assist shelter residents to obtain permanent housing and access other community resources.

Candlestick Point Vehicle Triage Center (VTC)

The VTC provides unhoused adults and families living in their RVs a safe space at the site with the goal of achieving permanent housing. BVHPF’s onsite case managers provide linkage/referrals to public benefits, behavioral health services, income/problem-solving assistance, permanent housing and food security. (This program is slated to close in 2025)
